Love Ya a Latte

Hi fellow crafters! This June passed so fast, and here is it’s last week and my last guestie post. It was so much fun to create inspirations for coffee and tea lovers, this is my all time favorite theme!

This time I bring you a Lawn Fawn card with a lot of fun, summer feeling, funky smiling clouds and lattes with critter friends. Let’s start!

Rainbow chickens

I love to create for challenges! You probably create something You would not ever or not the way You do this time. Because these design calls make your mind work or You have to learn – try new things. And sometimes You just bring a new idea. With this card I really was in last minute state. My new Lawn Fawn goodies arrived on Friday, the actual Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: “What’s the Weather” deadline was on Sunday. I had my Saturday with full of things, so I started to play along after 10 pm. But as I started to color and cut the elements of my idea it came to life. And I really love how this turned out. The little chickens floating under the rainbow, after the storm in their umbrella boat… So much fun! I hope they bring sunshine and hope to You!
Have a nice day, even it’s stormy or sunny! ☀️

Update: I’m so happy. This card is featured on Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

You Make Me Happy Dance

My daughter had a really special birthday this year. Turning 30 years old was a great event in my life and I hope it is for her too.
I’ve created this card for her, because she love foxes. I feel so much love for her, and she really makes me feel joy and I would make happy dance for her anytime! Because of my feelings the color choices for this card was: red, oranges, yellows and some gold – all about our love for each other.

The background was created with Ecoline watercolor paintings and Nuvo shimmer powders. I’ve made some of the white dots stronger with enamel accents at finishing stage.
The new Fox & Friend is my new favorite stamp set I just get. I’ve choosen the dancing one, and I’ve colored the little stamped fox with distress inks, then I fuzzy cut her. The white hearts are created with MFT stamps “Heart Entwined Die-namics“, I just cut this awesome pattern from a white quality paper, to make some contrast on my card. I’ve heat embossed the message of the card with white embossing powder on a black paper.

Amazing news! My card have been spotted by My Favorite Things! I’m so happy! Thank You so much!

I hope my card inspires You! Have a gorgeous day!

Use kraft challenge

I’ve created a Challenge card. Again. Yes, I love challenges because they force You to leave your comfort zone and try new, unusual and/or challenging techniques, materials, themes etc.
This time I’ve forced myself to try “use kraft” paper on my way, I mean I’ve used only kraft paper on this card. So it was really hard to find out how can I color it and paint some galaxies…

At the end I got the best results when I’ve used Derwent Inktense pencils with very little water to paint the background and my paper survived the wet. The white starts are acrylic paint as usually.
Hope you like it!

Winter Heart shaker tags

We are in the middle of Winter. Even the Holiday season is ended, we still keep the strong feelings in our hearts and I think it is so important to hold and keep it for the rest of the Year.
As I started to create for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 43 I had this in my mind, and decided to create lovely tags. I would like to give them to my friends with small surprises.

There are some very special encounters in life. My most memorable  one was on a trip to the States, wandering around in an aqua park when a tiny hummingbird flew right in front of me.
It just hovered there for a few awhile – staring at me, me staring at him. It was like a tiny jewel, hanging in the air… I’ll never forget that moment.

As I was making this card, that memory came to mind and with the lovely characters of MFT – the dragon (my favorite!) and the tiny fish – I wanted to capture that feeling.

A hátteret akvarell papírra, Ecoline akvarellfesték koncentrátumokkal készítettem, többször átfestve, rétegezve, módosítva. Ezután a Bubble over with Joy készlet buborékjait használva fehér domborításokat készítettem. Ugyanígy, csak más színeket választva, készült el a tag háttere is.

The background is painted on watercolor paper with Ecoline paints, layering and repainting them multiple times. After the base paint I used the patterns from the Bubble over with Joy set and heat embossed them. The tag was created the same way with slightly different colors.

A sárkányt (Magical Dragons) és a halacskát (Otterly love you) Zig tollak tintáját lapra kenve és felvizezve színeztem. A sárkány testére többször, több rétegben újra és újra rámentem. A fehér kiemelésekhez pedig Sharpie fine point tollat használtam.

The dragon (Magical Dragons) and the fish  (Otterly love you) were colored with the watered down ink of Zig markers – in case of the dragon, layering it over and over until I was happy with the gradients. For the white highlights, I used Sharpie fine point pen.

Lapom a The Daily Marker coloring challenge 12. napján készült az MFT 388. vázlat kihívására.

This card was made on the 12th day of the The Daily Marker coloring challenge for the 388 MFT Sketch Challenge.

Köszönöm, hogy benéztél! Szeretettel várlak inspirációimmal máskor is!
Alkotni jó!

Thank you for dropping by, I hope you’ll come around again for some inspiration!
Keep creating!
