No tricks, just treats

I think this week for me is about Halloween. When I saw the actual Lawn Fawnatics Challenge “Create a Scene” I was sure that this is the time for my peas to have some spooky party. So I’ve stamped a lots of peas and with some masking, I’ve created their costumes with the little elements of “happy howloween” stamp set. As the peas had special shapes, I had to fuzzycut a lot, but I think it was absolutely worth it.
Which one is your favorite?

Dies I’ve used:

mushroom border
build a house – halloween add-on
mini pop-up box

Happy Fall!

Boo!

The time has come and one of my favorite companies calls for their very first Challenge on Instagram (here). I was sure that I would like answer their call, it is so much fun to create Halloween themed, spooky cards, right?!

For my card I’ve used several of their stamp sets and colored them with aquarell paints and pencils. As I heat embossed the stamped images, the contour of them was nice shiny and helped me to control the flowing of wet colors.

The background of the card created with Nuvo shimmer powders and I really love how this turned out. ❤️

Love Ya a Latte

Hi fellow crafters! This June passed so fast, and here is it’s last week and my last guestie post. It was so much fun to create inspirations for coffee and tea lovers, this is my all time favorite theme!

This time I bring you a Lawn Fawn card with a lot of fun, summer feeling, funky smiling clouds and lattes with critter friends. Let’s start!

Rainbow chickens

I love to create for challenges! You probably create something You would not ever or not the way You do this time. Because these design calls make your mind work or You have to learn – try new things. And sometimes You just bring a new idea. With this card I really was in last minute state. My new Lawn Fawn goodies arrived on Friday, the actual Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: “What’s the Weather” deadline was on Sunday. I had my Saturday with full of things, so I started to play along after 10 pm. But as I started to color and cut the elements of my idea it came to life. And I really love how this turned out. The little chickens floating under the rainbow, after the storm in their umbrella boat… So much fun! I hope they bring sunshine and hope to You!
Have a nice day, even it’s stormy or sunny! ☀️

Update: I’m so happy. This card is featured on Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

You Make Me Happy Dance

My daughter had a really special birthday this year. Turning 30 years old was a great event in my life and I hope it is for her too.
I’ve created this card for her, because she love foxes. I feel so much love for her, and she really makes me feel joy and I would make happy dance for her anytime! Because of my feelings the color choices for this card was: red, oranges, yellows and some gold – all about our love for each other.

The background was created with Ecoline watercolor paintings and Nuvo shimmer powders. I’ve made some of the white dots stronger with enamel accents at finishing stage.
The new Fox & Friend is my new favorite stamp set I just get. I’ve choosen the dancing one, and I’ve colored the little stamped fox with distress inks, then I fuzzy cut her. The white hearts are created with MFT stamps “Heart Entwined Die-namics“, I just cut this awesome pattern from a white quality paper, to make some contrast on my card. I’ve heat embossed the message of the card with white embossing powder on a black paper.

Amazing news! My card have been spotted by My Favorite Things! I’m so happy! Thank You so much!

I hope my card inspires You! Have a gorgeous day!

Use kraft challenge

I’ve created a Challenge card. Again. Yes, I love challenges because they force You to leave your comfort zone and try new, unusual and/or challenging techniques, materials, themes etc.
This time I’ve forced myself to try “use kraft” paper on my way, I mean I’ve used only kraft paper on this card. So it was really hard to find out how can I color it and paint some galaxies…

At the end I got the best results when I’ve used Derwent Inktense pencils with very little water to paint the background and my paper survived the wet. The white starts are acrylic paint as usually.
Hope you like it!
