Hedgehog with a gemheart

I’ve never tought I’m capable of this. All I knew was that I wanted to know more about the possibilities of my pencils and I wished to be better and better at using them, to discover what I am capable of.

So I subscribed to the Kit and Clowder pencil Colouring Class and started a new journey. Here is my very first coloring at the class with my beloved Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils. I’ve enjoyed this so much! 💕

Love You Snow much

Cold and snow arrived, finally Winter is here. It’s simply beauiful and so fluffy. I prefer to stay inside the house because of my rheumatoid arthritis (so painful in cold), but I had to create a snowy Valentine card because of the weather. 💕🌨️❄️🎿

It was so relaxing to color these images with pencils. The snowfall background was created with an embossing folder and I had to made some fuzzy cutting.

I’ve used the following Neat & Tangled stamps to create this card: Bunny slopes, Oh deeer, Get yeti. The background was created with Taylored Expressions Snowfall embossing folder. Colored with Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils, dots created with Sakura Gelly roll.

Happy trails

“What’s the Weather?” is the question on this week, because it’s time for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge again, which will end on Valentine day. As I’m still on the pencil coloring journey, I decided to use my pencils again.
I designed a simple card with some masking and lots of coloring.

The process was totally relaxing, it is so good to blend and layer the colors together. I suggest You to give it a try, color something bright on a craft paper and You’ll fall in love with it.

I’ve used two Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create this card: Happy Trails, Rain or Shine Befor’n Afters.

If You would like to join the Challenge, find it here: What’s the Weather?

Sending a hug

I’m practicing coloring with my Caran D’ache Luminance pencils. There was a phase when I wanted to stop and throw it away.
I nearly gave up but my daughter told me I can still reach my goal and I should continue the coloring. She was right, as always. 🐧

I’v never thought that it would take 3 hours to color a small image like this. But it was totally relaxing and exciting journey…

I’ve used Mama Elephant Fuzzy Hugs stamp set to create this card. The base is created with Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame #2 die.

Have a nice day and hug Your beloved ones!

Miss Your face

Yeyyy, today is Hedgehog day! 🦔❤️

I’ve created this card with full of joy, remembering the old times when we were dancing together in the snow… ❄️
It is a virtual hug with a message: “I miss Your face”. 🤗

This card was created with the following Hello Bluebird stamps and dies: Leaf Play (stamp), First snow (stamp), Quiet Christmas (stamp), Frosty flakes (die), Winter Woods overlay (die).

Lots of smiles

Somethimes less is more. I’ve created a card with my one and only Anita Jeram stamp and I can say, with this stamp set You just need to use some nice colors and it’s done.

I colored the stamped image with Caran d’Ache Museum Aquarelle pencils layer by layer. For final touch I just made some splashes and that’s it.
Stamped with Colorado Craft Company AJ 373 stamp: Birthday wishing.

Heart to heart

On this weekend I was playing with collage printables from “Heartland” collection designed by Rucola Designs.
I’ve created some cards with its cuties for Valentine Day. ❤️

To tell the truth I would say I’m a “stamping” cardmaker, but to create mixed media cards with digital printables was also such a fun.

I think this anteater is my favorite…

… and this cute penguin lady. 💕

Smile from Ear to Ear

I’ve created this card for the MFT stamps Weekly Sketch Challenge (526).
I wanted to use watercolor paints, but accidentally I’ve used water based ink pad, so I decided to use my color pencils instead…

I really love how it turned out and so happy that I had to use these awesome pencils.

I’ve used MFT stamps: Easter Bunnies and Joyful Heart Bears and made some doodles on the frame. I hope You like it! 🐰💗
