On this Monday I bring not a card for inspiration but an Art journal page. Sylwia Gryczuk hopefully come to Budapest in November and there will be some awesome workshop with her. In the closed Facebook group with workshop participants, Sylwia shared some freebies. It was a great opportunity to try her cute art! I love the results so much, and it was so joyful to create with these elements.
Thank You TandiArt for the freebies and thank you Sugallatok team because you are organizing this gorgeous event!
If You follow me than I’m sure You realized that I’m addicted to paint galaxies. I try to improve my skills on it week by week. I really enjoying to paint them and love that all of them are unique, unrepeatable… On this week for my Monday motivation I’ve chosen a special one with bright fog and put a dancing ballerina bunny in the middle… Let’s dance through the stars, and enjoy our journey because all of us are Stardust.
I love to create for challenges! You probably create something You would not ever or not the way You do this time. Because these design calls make your mind work or You have to learn – try new things. And sometimes You just bring a new idea. With this card I really was in last minute state. My new Lawn Fawn goodies arrived on Friday, the actual Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: “What’s the Weather” deadline was on Sunday. I had my Saturday with full of things, so I started to play along after 10 pm. But as I started to color and cut the elements of my idea it came to life. And I really love how this turned out. The little chickens floating under the rainbow, after the storm in their umbrella boat… So much fun! I hope they bring sunshine and hope to You! Have a nice day, even it’s stormy or sunny! ☀️
To find the beauty in every day can be hard. But we can do it! Sometimes just really small things can bright our moments. Try to catch and enjoy them! I did it also when I tried gelatos first time with this simple card.
Hello February! Today my Motivation Monday card is a Mix & Match, I’ve used stamps of several companies. The most important thing was the message, to fight for your dreams and desires. It’s important, because You worth it to fight them for!
My daughter had a really special birthday this year. Turning 30 years old was a great event in my life and I hope it is for her too. I’ve created this card for her, because she love foxes. I feel so much love for her, and she really makes me feel joy and I would make happy dance for her anytime! Because of my feelings the color choices for this card was: red, oranges, yellows and some gold – all about our love for each other.
The background was created with Ecoline watercolor paintings and Nuvo shimmer powders. I’ve made some of the white dots stronger with enamel accents at finishing stage. The new Fox & Friend is my new favorite stamp set I just get. I’ve choosen the dancing one, and I’ve colored the little stamped fox with distress inks, then I fuzzy cut her. The white hearts are created with MFT stamps “Heart Entwined Die-namics“, I just cut this awesome pattern from a white quality paper, to make some contrast on my card. I’ve heat embossed the message of the card with white embossing powder on a black paper.
I’ve created a Challenge card. Again. Yes, I love challenges because they force You to leave your comfort zone and try new, unusual and/or challenging techniques, materials, themes etc. This time I’ve forced myself to try “use kraft” paper on my way, I mean I’ve used only kraft paper on this card. So it was really hard to find out how can I color it and paint some galaxies…
At the end I got the best results when I’ve used Derwent Inktense pencils with very little water to paint the background and my paper survived the wet. The white starts are acrylic paint as usually. Hope you like it! Check for more challenges at Create a Smile blog: here
